SONASIL is amorphous in nature, inert, harmless, finds use in salt & food industry for anti-caking, etc, and does not fall under pollution control rules for mineral dust.

It is resistance to reduction gasses, e.g. moist air, organic solvent vapors, protective gases (N2, inert gases), reducing atmospheres (H2, CO , CH4, NH3) etc.
